Jonofin

For years i have been saying my name wrong, well it sounded right to me but today on the phone some one laughed and corrected me. This was the second time this week that some one laughed at me about it and both calls were from head office (must think im a right doofis), gosh its taken all these years to get it right! but hay i like my way better might get it change by de-pole ..... Jonofin Mackie sounds good. Also got very wet today spent all day trying to get my waterproofs dry only for them to get saturated on the way home again!

Names are an important key to what a society values. Anthropologists recognize naming as 'one of the chief methods for imposing order on perception.'

You shouldn't worry about people laughing at you (I know you don't). You are allowed to pronounce your name how you wish. I am sure that when you were given the name "Jonathan" your parents intended it to be pronounced 'Jonofin" :-)

What about Lol Los? :-)
